The SportStrategy Group consists of six companies, all engaged in the business of sports—primarily football. The companies in SportStrategy Group are owned by Crest Holding SE, registered in Luxembourg. The head office is currently located in Norway, but will be moved to the UK in August 2010 as part of a planned restructuring of the group. In addition we have representative offices in the UK, Luxembourg and the Ukraine.
We provide business consulting, education, project management, arena development, and investment services to professional sports organisations all over Europe. Our basic business idea is that the business of sports is inherently no different than any other business, and that through sound business management and –development, most football clubs can be made profitable ....although it is often a question of finding the right level of profitability for the club. Not all clubs can be Premiership clubs and not all clubs can play in the Champions League. But all clubs can have a viable business model. We focus our attention mainly on small– and medium sized football clubs in Europe, believing that these clubs in general have a great unfulfilled business potential, while at the same time often lacking the professional resources and competency to develop this business potential by themselves. Our unique approach helps clubs increase their revenue streams and gain access to larger sponsorship markets. By providing direct, no-nonsense business advice, active participation in the execution of business strategies over 5-10 years, and extensive use of no-cure-no-pay models, we have established ourselves as a preferred partner for many small– and medium sized clubs in Europe.
